How Much Does a Trip to Andaman Cost: Port Blair

Time Required: 2 Days

Port Blair is the place you land first coming by flight or ship. However, Andaman travel cost by ship can be hectic. Port Blair is the capital of Andaman & Nicobar Island and mostly can be called the entry point to the islands.

This place gives you a town vibe with a lot of options for hotels, restaurants, and street food to explore.

Accommodation/Stays in Port Blair: Cost for Andaman Trip

During my 9 days visit to Port Blair, Andaman Nicobar, I stayed in Kanchan’s Nest homestay which is 6 Km from Veer Savarkar International Airport.

If you are travelling on a budget then no place is better because they offer spacious beautiful pond-facing rooms. Do you know how much we paid for a day? 1100 Rupees per day.

If you want some luxury accommodation options in Port Blair then go for Adhvasaha Beach Spa Resort

It is 18 km from Mount Harriet National Park with spacious cosy rooms, air conditioning, and incredible staff. However, the price is 8000 Rupees per day.

Food in Port Blair: Cost for Andaman Trip

Annapurna Restaurants is a popular vegetarian south Indian restaurant for budget travellers in Port Blair, Andaman. Moreover, the food expense can be around 600 Rupees per day.

This is a small restaurant rustling up other mouthwatering South Indian Foods. I would recommend you to order uttapams and dosas which cost 100 to 150 Rupees.

If you’re a non-vegetarian like me, nothing can satisfy your lust without tasting delicious seafood, crabs, and lobster. Hence, New Lighthouse Restaurant is the best place to eat.

Moreover, try to eat food at roadside stalls in the market. They are super cheap and of good quality.
